What Is AppLinked?
AppLinked is a third-party app store that lets you access and download apps to your FireStick that may be unavailable on official websites like Google or Amazon Store. You can compare this app with FileLinked (defunct) and Unlinked (functional)
AppLinked is a creation of Inside4Android Studios, the developers of Strix, UK Turks, Media Lounge, and other apps.
The app’s interface is pretty straightforward. It contains a menu and app categories. I particularly liked that the category organizes apps into genres.
For example, you’ll click on the Live TV sub-category to download Live TV apps. The collection of available apps is diverse. You’ll have every entertainment app you need, from sports, movies, and TV shows to gaming, mixed content, and adult content apps.
Downloading an app via AppLinked is also easy. You only need to add a code, open a store, then hover on the app you want to download. After, click on the download option.

Overview of The AppLinked App
If you plan to use AppLinked frequently, you may like to create a home screen shortcut for easy access.
Since you will use AppLinked to install third-party apps, you must give it sideloading permission by going to FireStick Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options. Next, click Install Unknown Apps and enable AppLinked. Or, click Apps from Unknown Sources if you see that instead.
Opening the AppLinked app takes you straight to the home screen. The home screen is clutter free with only two major sub-categories: Menu and Categories. The menu is divided into four tabs: Add A store, Saved Stores, Delete A Store, and Public Store.
The Add a Store tab is where you input a code that contains downloadable apps. The Saved Stores tab displays codes you have entered before. You can use the Delete a Store button to remove any added codes from your list.
The final menu tab, Public Store, contains codes accessible to all AppLinked users. You may click on the tab to view codes and download apps.
The following subsection of the home screen is Categories. This section divides available apps into their genres. Examples of app genres available include Live TV, Movies/Shows, TV Shows, Adult, Movies, Gaming, Mixed Content, Sports, and Others. To view apps available under any genre, click on the genre, for example, Sports. A list of available apps will appear.
To download any app from the list, click on it. A popup window with Download and Cancel buttons will appear. Click on Download.
You’ll see a search icon at the top when you click on any genre. You can click on the search icon to find a specific app within that list.
In addition to downloading apps available on the public store, you can add a store using codes. Here’s how to do it:
1. Click Add a Store.
2. Enter your store code in the popup text field, for example, code 5555, then click Submit.
I am using the code 5555 for the demonstration. If you have any other code, you may use that instead.
3. Go to Saved Stores and click on it.
4. Click Select A Store.
5. Select the code you added.
6. Click Open.
